Let innocence be your mask.
(from Ring of Secrets by Roseanna M. White)
I have never, ever read such an amusing character such as Winter in Ring of Secrets. She wears her mask beautifully — and in such a way that makes me laugh out loud. But that’s all I’m gonna say. 😉 You may read my review here.

Here's the first line (and the rest of paragraph, because I like this is the opening to one of my favorite books. ;)\”Want to be a school-master, do you? You? Well, what would *you* do in Flat Crick deestrick, *I'd* like to know? Why, the boys have driv off the last two, and licked the one afore them like blazes. You might teach a summer school, when nothin' but children come. But I 'low it takes a right smart *man* to be school-master of Flat Crick in the winter. They'd pitch you out of doors, sonny, neck and heels, afore Christmas.\” ~from THE HOOSIER SCHOOLMASTER, by Edward Eggleston (late 1800s book with good plot, good writing, and good Christianity). ~Liberty\”Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.\” II Corinthians 3:17
