Most of the music I do is taking something already written and re-arranging it. I don’t do much original composing. However, I recently came across one that I composed a few years ago (2009, I think). I just put it up on YouTube.

I’m starting the year off with putting up early intermediate pieces. I realize that a lot of pianists out there are looking for creative arrangements that are do-able. So here’s the first one…
The title song for my Christmas CD (“Christmas Is a Gift”) is just a pretty melody until you put the lyrics to it. Thus, I have created a music video with the lyrics so you can enjoy it to the fullest.

This one was fun to arrange. It’s a slightly different style than I have really done before. Given the haunting reflection of the words, the arrangement is more meandering, wandering.
