This one was arranged per request of one of my students. It was fun, because most of my students are late-beginner/early intermediate. This student, however, can do the runs and chords. So I had a blast. 😉

It is always fun to arrange a song more than once. A few weeks back, I shared the advanced piano solo of “Angels.” Now, here’s a duet, per request.
It seems like one of the popular Christmas favorites is “O Holy Night.” One of my newer students requested this for Christmas. As she knew music before I began teaching her, I was able to make it a late-beginner arrangement for her, using elements of the original arrangement.

Piano duet!! I love duets… and Christmas music. 😉 So, why not mix the two?
The air is turning cooler! And as soon as it does, I like to break out the Christmas music! You can ask my students — some of us have already begun working on Christmas carols!

Another old favorite of mine… This hymn just calms me. It is so beautiful, so Christ-centered.

A few years ago, one of my students asked me to arrange her a spiritual, for her to play for her daddy. I actually got some books and studied styling to expand my knowledge in this style. And I had a blast. Since then, I’ve added another verse to it to make it a more complete arrangement. Enjoy!
